Beautiful place. Very convenient and comfortable. Nice and quiet. Had everything we needed. Just far enough from away from the city, but close enough to get to restaurants and attractions.

Tim and Michelle was really helpful and responsive to any of my questions. They take great care of their cabin and they added extra touches to make you feel like you are home. The coke in the refrigerator and moonpies was a added bonus. They are the best host and hostess I have had. if you are thinking of staying here please do!

Loved our stay here, it was so peaceful and quiet! But still an easy drive to Dollywood, 16 minutes, on beautiful back roads. Loved the fenced in area for the dogs. This was perfect for us, we will definitely stay here the next time we visit the smokies.

One of if not the best place our family has ever stayed. The place was easy to get in and out of which was a plus because my dad has issues walking. Quiet place, but still close to many things and attractions. Very responsive host anytime we had questions. House was immaculate and had lots of room. Definitely looking forward to staying here again when I’m in the area.

Thirsty Bear Lair is a gorgeous home thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Tim and Michelle provided easy to follow instructions for check in and checkout; interesting information about the construction of their home, and information about things to see and do in the area. Their attention to little details made this such a comfortable and cozy place to stay. It’s extremely clean, and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit this area.

This was definitely the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The hosts were fantastic. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. The place was well stocked and clean. We spent so much time in the rocking chairs on the front porch just enjoying the view and listening to the river flow. We met up with another couple and really enjoyed our time! Would definitely return without hesitation. The “little extras” they left were also very thoughtful.

We want to thank Tim and Michelle for providing us with a great space for all of us. Including our dog Molly who doesn't really travel well. They gave us snacks, drinks and even treats for our pup. We had a small mishap with our vehicle but they were so helpful in pitching in and even grabbing a mowing crew to help!! The space was clean and homey. I absolutely love the Coca-Cola collection. I would most definitely stay here again since its near where we love to go. If you haven't had the chance to meet these two, please take the time to do so. They were so great. We thank you both so much! Matt, Angela, Jacob and Molly.

We loved this place. It was quiet with plenty of space and an easy drive to the tons of things to do in the area. Plenty close to Dollywood and other attractions. We had a great time and would use this Airbnb again for sure. One of the best we've stayed in.

Thirsty Bear Den is wonderful. It’s the perfect size and had everything we needed. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our two dogs. We cooked most of our meals so it was great to have a kitchen that was so well stocked. It's the perfect location, about 20 minutes from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! Tim was helpful and proactive with his communication.

Tim and Michelle were wonderful hosts—very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The cabin itself was fantastic, with every detail thoughtfully designed and perfectly executed. Everything was spotless and felt brand new. We felt truly welcome throughout our stay. The location is excellent: just a short, leisurely drive to all the local attractions, yet far enough away to avoid heavy traffic. I highly recommend staying at the Thirsty Bear Lair!
