Private driveway/entrance, large covered front porch, 1.5 miles to historic Harrisburg Bridge, 3 miles to tubing, 8 miles to Dollywood, 12 miles to The Island/ Pigeon Forge, 15 miles to Buc-ee's, 17 miles to Aquarium/Gatlinburg, 18 miles to GSM Nat'l Park Porter Trailhead, and 32 miles to Pigeon River rafting .

Easy access --1 step up to porch and 1 step up over threshold. Driveway may be a little steep, at first, to flatlanders. Easy access to the residence, with no steep hills or one-lane roads to navigate. On paved road that meets with gravel driveway. Maximum overnight guest is 4 including infants. Pets allowed with per-approval. Max pets is 2. Pet fee is $75. After per-approval add your pet to registration.

Residential neighborhood - all the lots are 1/2 acre, we have the 2 lots on the corner. Both neighbors have at least an acre. Coyotes and bears are in the area; I have seen both, including a bear in front of the covered porch.

Guest Access

You have exclusive access to ground floor - private driveway/entrance, bedroom, living room, dining area, full kitchen, 1.5 baths with stacked washer and dryer. My wife and I live upstairs - We have our own driveway and entrance from a side street.

This was a nice place. Clean and well build. They had everything that you would need. And after a long driv3 they had a cold coca-Cola in the frig. In a nice quiet neighborhood. If I am in town again I will stay there again.

Tim and Michelle have a beautiful place. They have designed the coca-cola theme throughout with attention to minutest detail. We just loved the place and v comfortable stay. The Nintendo style game from the past was the blast and my 6 year old just loved it. Will be back for sure! Thanks guys

This was our first ever experience using AirBnB, and we were not disappointed at all! Tim and his wife were incredible hosts; going as far as coming out to help us start a fire! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot.

We stayed at this cabin for a couple of days and it was worth every penny. The Hosts were super responsive and gave us history of the cabin. We will defiantly be back to book. The Hosts had the fridge stocked with soda, water and milk. They also had moon pies and candy. Our kids played with the chalk provided and toys that they had in the cabin.

We absolutely loved staying at the lair. we came for our son 3rd birthday and the personal touches they made for his birthday were the best and made him so excited. I have family coming in September and already recommended them to Tim and Michelle place. we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed the Thirsty Bear Lair. The Lair was perfectly set up for us when we arrived and we felt welcome and comfortable from the beginning of our stay to the end. Tim and Michelle paid a lot of attention to detail in the design of the space and with amenities as well. The neighborhood was peaceful and we were only 15 to 25 minutes away from many of the restaurants and attractions. We felt at home and would definitely recommend The Lair. We plan on coming back and staying there again. Thank you Tim and Michelle.

This cabin was so charming. Tim even had a welcome sign with our names and our dogs' names. Every detail was catered to our needs and there were so many added touches. The cabin is decorated beautifully and the fresh wood inside gives it a clean, fresh and comforting feel. The cabin is a close drive to Pigeon Forge where numerous attractions and restuarants await. Tim was highly responsive and provided local recommendations to us. Everything about this place makes you smile. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Will definitely be back.

The Thirsty Bear was an excellent stop. It was just minutes from town but a quiet place to sleep and refresh. Great area to take a peaceful walk after traveling. The house was super clean and charming. Tim and Michelle are helpful, friendly, and readily available. One of the best places we ever stayed.
